Sharmax Motors, an international manufacturer of motorcycles and powersports vehicles, formally entered the Egyptian market in July 2026, opening a fully operational dealership in New Cairo and launching a dedicated local online store. The move gives the company a permanent base in one of North Africa’s largest markets and extends the MENA network it has been building across the Gulf.

A permanent base in Cairo

The New Cairo dealership gives local customers direct access to the brand and its full vehicle range, with models already in stock and available for purchase. Alongside the showroom, Sharmax has launched an Egypt-specific online platform where customers can browse available models, review specifications and prices, compare vehicles and place orders online.

The showroom adds the physical side of that experience. Customers can see vehicles in person, compare models, arrange test rides and speak directly with the local team before making a decision.

A broad lineup for different riding needs

Sharmax is entering Egypt with a wide portfolio covering both road and off-road use.

The on-road range covers cruisers, naked bikes, sport bikes and dual-sport touring models. Scooters and maxi scooters add options for everyday city riding and longer urban commutes.

For off-road use, Sharmax offers trail, enduro and pit bikes, along with ATVs for recreational, sport, youth and utility applications. UTVs and buggies extend that range into more demanding terrain and longer off-road routes.

The lineup also includes golf carts, from compact two-seaters to larger six-seat models for recreational, hospitality and light transport use.

Warranty and after-sales support from the start

Sharmax backs its vehicles with a three-year warranty, giving owners long-term coverage from the point of purchase.

Spare parts are also kept accessible through the local support network, alongside maintenance, diagnostics and repair services. The Egypt expansion model already includes local representatives, maintenance support, parts supply and logistics as part of the operating structure.

For motorcycles, ATVs and buggies, that support matters over the full ownership cycle. Easier access to service and replacement components helps reduce downtime and makes regular upkeep more straightforward.

UltraCore for demanding regional conditions

Selected Sharmax motorcycles and powersports vehicles for MENA markets use UltraCore technology, developed for sustained engine loads and demanding operating conditions.

The system uses reinforced chromoly components designed to withstand peak stress for up to 40% longer, while precision balancing helps reduce vibration and wear during prolonged high-RPM or high-load use.

That has a clear application in Egypt. High temperatures, desert terrain and extended off-road use can place additional stress on engines, particularly on larger motorcycles, ATVs and buggies. UltraCore is designed to support more stable performance under those conditions.

Building a local riding community

Sharmax also sees its Cairo base as more than a retail location. The company plans for new dealerships to develop into natural meeting points for riders, helping build stronger local connections around motorcycles and powersports. In Egypt, that can include test rides, group activities, local events and cooperation with existing riding communities.

That community element fits naturally with the country’s strong recreational off-road scene and growing interest in adventure riding.

Egypt as a long-term growth market

Egypt gives Sharmax significant room for growth within MENA. The country’s deserts and dunes create strong conditions for off-road riding. Mountain routes and coastal destinations add more variety to how powersports vehicles can be used.

Tourism also supports demand. Adventure activities and desert experiences are already part of Egypt’s recreational offering.

Sharmax now has a permanent base in Cairo. The local online platform is already operating as well.

The next stage is to grow the customer base and strengthen the brand’s position in the market. Over time, Egypt could become one of Sharmax’s more important markets in North Africa.
